Terms & Conditions

The information listed below is a general appreciation of the way in which The Core Dance Company is run to ensure that each student benefits from their class. We thank you for your participation. 

1. PERSONAL DATA 

1.1 Personal information collected from you is for our use only and will not be passed on to third parties.
1.2 We may look to use Video cameras from time to time solely for the benefit of class projects subject to your approval. However, on occasions we may wish   to use these videos for promotional purposes we will of course seek your consent. Please see below. 

2. COURSE BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICIES 

 

2.1 Should the facilities become unavailable at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, i.e., weather, heating failure or the like and this had an impact on sessions then we would look to reschedule the lost class. 
2.2 In the event of dance staff ill health affecting class sessions then we would again look first to cover the teacher and then to reschedule the class.
2.3 Should you the Parent feel for any reason that you wish to terminate classes with The Core Dance Company then we would very much appreciate if notification of this could be given half a term ahead. 

2.4 In respect of invoices, these will be presented a week before the beginning of term and payment should be made within 2 weeks. If you cancel your place for the new term after the invoices are sent out, then 50% of the fees for the term will still need to be paid. We have limited places on our classes and with waiting lists in most sessions, at this late stage of cancellation we may be unable to fill the space.

2.5 If attending one of our half term/summer workshops, a payment of £15.00 non-refundable deposit is due. We will send out invoices 10 days prior to the start date of the workshop for the remaining balance. If you cancel your place within this 10-day period full payment for the workshop is still required. 

2.6 If you book onto a block of adult classes then full payment for the course is due, if you cancel once you have booked then full payment is still required. X                   

3. INSURANCE AND LIABILITY 

3.1 With regards to health and safety it would be very useful you could provide us with any necessary medical information in respect of your individual child.
3.2 To confirm The Core Dance Company Staff hold an Enhanced certificate in first aid and insured for public liability. In addition, all Staff are DBS checked. 3.3 Our aim is to strive for equal opportunities for all students and with this constantly assess both the Students and our own performance in our quest for the personal progression of each student/ staff on all sessions
3.4 Should you have any concerns in respect of the lesson/payments/classes or our Staff then we would welcome the opportunity to meet with yourselves at your earliest convenience in order to rectify and clarify any points raised.
3.5 In the unlikely event of a Student and/or Parent behaving improperly toward our Staff we will reserve the right to exclude the same from the class, if a satisfactory explanation is not found. 

4. GENERAL 

4.1 Should the information on these terms and conditions change, you will be notified via email, and it will be updated via the parent portal and on our website. 

 

5. COMPANY REQUIREMENTS 

5.1 With regard to Meeting/Collection times Parents/Students will be provided with this information prior to each Term/session. 

5.2 We kindly request, that by signing up to our portal you accept that you understand these terms/ conditions and are responsible for the knowledge and information listed. 

5.3 We ask that students arrive properly dressed for classes and take this opportunity to highlight such clothing as jeans and skirts are not conducive to the activities taught. We would recommend black leggings or black tracksuit bottoms, The Core Dance Company t-shirt, trainers and hair tied up. Please see the full uniform list on the portal.
